5. Nature of the service
Evantya is an online platform that lets event organisers prepare and run their projects (budget, choice of vendors, messages, quotes, documents) and lets events vendors present their business and receive quote requests.
Evantya acts solely as a technical intermediary putting people in touch. The publisher is neither an event organiser, nor a vendor, nor a party to the contracts entered into between an organiser and a vendor. It guarantees neither the performance, nor the quality, nor the price of the services ordered from a listed vendor.
Electronic invoicing
Evantya is a solution compatible with electronic invoicing, connected to an accredited platform. Evantya is not itself an accredited platform within the meaning of the applicable regulations.
6. Intellectual property
The overall structure of the Service, together with the texts, graphics, images, logos, visual identity, databases, software and source code that make it up, are the exclusive property of the publisher or its partners, and are protected by French and international intellectual property law.
The “Evantya” trade mark, its logo and its distinctive elements are the property of [À COMPLÉTER : titulaire de la marque]. Any reproduction, representation, alteration, extraction or reuse, in whole or in part, of any of these elements, by any means and on any medium, is forbidden without the publisher’s prior written permission.
Any unauthorised use of the Service or of any of its elements may render its author liable and give rise to proceedings, in particular for infringement.
7. Content published by users
Vendors remain the owners of the content they publish on their listing (descriptions, photographs, prices, documents). By publishing it, they grant the publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content, solely for the purposes of operating and promoting the Service, for as long as it remains online.
Every user warrants that they hold the necessary rights over the content they publish and remains solely liable for its lawfulness. Reviews left by organisers are their own judgement alone and do not bind the publisher.
8. Hyperlinks
The Service may contain links to third-party sites, in particular to the sites of listed vendors. Those sites are independent of the Service: the publisher exercises no control over their content and disclaims all liability for the information, products or services offered there.
Creating a link pointing to the Service is free, provided it creates no confusion as to the origin of the content, does not misrepresent the Service and does not pursue a purpose contrary to public order. The publisher reserves the right to ask for the removal of any link that does not meet these conditions.
9. Reporting unlawful content
In accordance with article 6 I of the LCEN and with regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services, any manifestly unlawful content published on the Service may be reported to oren@wedevops.fr.
So that it can be dealt with quickly, a report should state:
- the date of the report;
- the identity and contact details of the person reporting;
- a precise description of the disputed content and its address (URL) on the Service;
- the reasons why that content should be taken down, with the relevant legal references.
The publisher acknowledges receipt of the report and, where appropriate, takes down manifestly unlawful content as quickly as possible.
10. Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data carried out as part of the Service is described in the privacy policy. The trackers placed on your device are described in the cookie policy. Both documents form an integral part of this legal notice.
This legal notice is governed by French law. Any dispute over its interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to the mandatory rules applying to consumers.
